Homer Alone
I’ll spare you the whole sad story of how I was left behind while the rest of the clan travels around the world. I’ll even refrain from explaining all the feelings of inadequacy and abandonment I now have since my family brought me here because they are too busy to take care of me.  I’m three years old, neutered and can’t even tell you what my name is. I know how to sit and shake, and I’m very nice and friendly with all people. And even though I can identify with my MacCaulay Culkin counterpart, I promise not to make silly faces, scream or get into your aftershave.
If you are interested in adopting Homer’s mystery dog, call the Homer Animal Shelter at 235-3141, or visit between noon and 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
