Homer Chamber awards scholarships
The Homer Chamber of Commerce recently awarded two $500 scholarships and one $500 Brother Asaiah scholarship to 2008 high school graduates at award ceremonies held this week: Marina Critchett and  Kaley Petska, both of Homer High school
The $500 Brother Asaiah Scholarship, administered by the Chamber of Commerce, was awarded to Elikonida Reutov of Kachemak  Selo School.

When Homer High School psychology teacher Diane Warner decided to look for something a little more hands-on for her students as a final project, she had no idea the result would be the school’s first-ever Psychology Fair.
In fact, Warner speculated that this may just be the first Psychology Fair held on the Kenai Peninsula.
